Welcome to Teens for Tennessee. If you are visiting this sight, I’m guessing you are a Tennessee Volunteer fan because that is what this website is all about. Tennessee sports galore. This all started in March, when I was watching March Madness. My mom gave me the idea to start a blog, because all I talked about was sports. She says “A website would be a great creative outlet for your Tennessee enthusiasm.” I sprang right into action purchasing my domain on Go Daddy. As my obsession grew, I began to draw up designs, brainstorm, and organize my thoughts. I am lucky enough to know people who work with graphic design in their careers, and they told me about Word Press, and other sites. In June I attended a Sports Broadcasting Camp at Webb School of Knoxville, and my obsession took me over. It was after this camp, that I realized I needed to act soon, and so I talked to some people and looked around. I finally settled on Word Press. I can’t believe it’s up and running. Wow! What a journey.

The site has been a long way since this 2010 post. The website recently passes 3,000 views this past August, right after our two-year anniversary, @teens4tn has 30+ followers on Twitter, and 30+ likes on Facebook. I had the absolute joy of working with Tennessee Sports Radio back in April, and they really spurred my blogging into a passion that I can’t let go of. I couldn’t have gotten this far without all the support I’ve gotten from those closest to me, my friends and family. I just wanted to take this moment to say thank you to everyone that has helped me on this journey. And guess what, folks? It’s not over yet. Here’s to many more years! Go Vols!
